I've just had a look at the Swansea messageboards and they don't seem particularly bothered by it. Opinions about Grimes seem to be very mixed. Nothing he's done suggests he would be a decent Premier League player.
"He has stolen a living for years. Besides half a dozen ok games last season and a couple this, he just looks like a League 1 player at best. No right foot. Can't head a ball. Strolls around like a fcking pervert in a disco."

His loan spell at a bigger Championship club, Leeds, was a disaster too. The fans there labeled him one of the worst players they'd ever seen. The abuse got so bad that his mum had to defend him against the "nasty Leeds fans."
