Not been to this festival before.
Back home today from a great weekend there, when I would normally go to Victorious.
Would recommend it. Decent line-up of bands.
What I particularly like is that there are two stages in the same area, and bands play one after the other on alternate stages, so you don’t have any time gaps waiting for bands. Works really well.
Can see us going again next year. Decent for families with kids, with loads of money raised for children’s charities.
You just need to be able to tolerate Chris Evans…… |  |

It’s fairly safe in terms of not many “edgy” acts.
Main acts on Friday (the best day) were Reef, The Charlatans, Mark Almond and Chic.
Saturday: Miles Kane, James Bay, James Blunt, Rick Astley.
Sunday: Fratellis, McFly, Texas, a “supergroup” with Ricky Wilson and Roger Daltrey, then Roman fcuking Keating.
It’s pretty-well run though. If you like cars (which I don’t) it probably helps….. | |
