It was between Ward-Prowse, Walker-Peters and Romeu for me. Went for Ward-Prowse here and in the official club poll, because his free kicks have won us us so many points this season, have brought us joy and he is always professional.
Ward Prowse for me. Fast, strong tackler, good anticipation, intelligent marking, always chooses an incisive attacking pass and, as captain, can turn the troops around and inspire and motivate them. The perfect player, in fact I don't know why a CL team hasn't put a cheeky bid in for him.
Gotta be one of KWP or JWP. As Parraud, Livermento, Romeu and maybe S Armstrong/Adams have all had good seasons where they’ve really had some good games and haven’t underperformed often, but both JWP and KWP have been great all season long and have both gotten us the points when we needed them, and have only had like 2/3 games each all season where they weren’t the greatest, but the other 35 or so, they were all top notch for! (although I’m sure I Would will find a way to somehow criticise Prowse and say how “poor” he’s been all season)
