Barry Richards was simply IMO the best batsman ever, superb timing .Superb talent.If only he could have been allowed to show his talents on the big stage for South Africa .I used to love watching him and Gordon Greenidge open for Hampshire at Northlands Road .

Brilliant finish. Hampshire are great at holding their nerve. It reminded me of the 2010 final, which we won on the last ball by losing fewer wickets.
