What absolute bargains they are compared to European and South American players nowadays. Just watching Mitoma outclassing Liverpool's overpriced European players. Mitoma cost Brighton £3 million from Kawasaki. Gakpo cost more than ten times that much and is not as good as him. There are still plenty of good Asian players available who played in the World Cup Finals, including the Korean striker, Cho Gue-sung.

What I have seen with players from this part of the world is that they may not always be the best and tend to be quiet personality wise but they have a tremendous work ethic and a sense of loyalty to their employer.
