Grimsby 1978 10:20 - Feb 8 with 992 views | SaintNick | The last time we played them was in 1978, I went to all 3 games, a 0-0 draw at Grimsby on the Saturday, followed by another 0-0 AET at the Dell only 3 days later, a week after that we met them in a 2nd replay played at Leicester City's filbert street. The only problem was that Grimsby is only about 80-90 miles from Leicester whereas Southampton is about 150, than meant that they took about 10,000 and we had about 1,500 there. We beat them 4-1 it was not pleasant getting back to the coaches after and then it was a blizzard for most of the way home

Leicester is famous for having the largest ring road in the World, if you want to get across the city using it is is 80-90 miles | |
