Itchen North Block 1 13:08 - Mar 6 with 1086 viewsPatfromPoole

Steele was alluding to Block 1 potentially being re-opened for the Spurs home game.

Can’t say I have heard any more on this.

Have held off buying tickets for future home games in the hope I might be able to get in Block 1.

Anybody heard owt?

No it is based on there are no more incidences between now and the rest of the season, I don't think there have been many so far, block 2 & 3 were far from full for the Leicester game though.

I did read somewhere that it would only be the season ticket holders that are allowed to return and that they would not be selling individual tickets

Ah, I see.

There is weirdly a single seat in Block 2 available for sale for a number of home games, but nothing in Block 1.

If they are going to move ST holders back into Block 1, they need to get cracking with it in time for the Spurs game, and to communicate with those ST holders affected.

Experience from friends of mine was that this was not well handled a few months ago when they moved ST holders from Block 1 to Block 2.

They should concentrate on moving the away fans instead of those troublemakers in Block 1.

It wasnt well handled, the club are terrible in the way they handle things in terms of fan relationships.

I’m not convinced they will open it again this season . If they do they will leave it to all other seats are virtually sold and then realease the 150 or so seats .

It maybe a number of years untill we get to use block 1 again as can see the club having to close blocks in the championship to help cut costs . Block 1,2 and possibly 3 . Moving the family area round to more of the chapple and closing that corner too .

I’ve changed it twice since Jonesy was cruelly sacked.
But to no avail.
I’ll try again.
Third time lucky.
