Eddie Howe's agent and Tino Livramento's agent 16:06 - Aug 3 with 1996 viewsPatfromPoole

One and the same person, I believe.

Potential scenario.

Transfer fee of £40 million in total.

Tino gets a £2 million signing-on fee, representing 5% of the transfer fee.

Agent gets a 25% cut of the signing-on fee = £500,000.

Agent says to Howe, "Eddie, as a thank you for expediting this bit of business, I'm going to waive my 25% cut of the signing-on fee for when Newcastle next give you a new contract."

Wouldn't happen, would it.......

No of course not.
Eddie Howe's such an honest Saints hater.

Eddie Howe, is on a long term contract (no dates released but he still had two years left on his original when they announced it last year).

I imagine given how well it has gone for him so far at Newcastle the agent would be expecting a bigger signing on bonus for Howe’s next contract.

So yeah, don’t think that was part of the deal but I do imagine it helps having contact with a shared agent.

Why would his signing on fee come out of the saints bit of the transfer fee? Sounds very unlikely to me. He would however get a loyalty bonus as he hasnt put in a transfer request

It wouldn’t.

Barcodes would have to pay that on top.
