This season - the story so far 21:28 - Sep 3 with 544 viewsPatfromPoole

So far, we have:-

- beaten two teams promoted from League 1 with pretty late winning goals

- beaten a team who stayed up on the penultimate week of last season in a pretty close game

- had a high-scoring draw against a team who finished mid-table last season

- had an absolute gubbing from a team who lost in the play-offs last season

- had another gubbing in the Cup to a League 2 team who appear to have collapsed since then

I think on balance we should be happy to be as high as we are in the League.

September is a big month; some big tests coming up with Ross Stewart not available.

no more away trips for me until the club and management show a little more common sense in selection and tactics(and i love away days but enough is enough)
We are so lucky to have 10 points so far.

I have done all 3 away jaunts in the League and they have been great trips.

I even enjoyed Sunderland, apart from the game; had a good night in Newcastle on Friday.

I am enjoying the games, but we are far too easy to play against if a team attacks us like Sunderland did.

This is pretty reminiscent of Burley’s first season. I suspect more streetwise teams will edge us out and Martin’s refusal to compromise will be his undoing. And ours.
