Tickets are far too expensive and the fight has come too soon to fill a stadium. They should have waited for the eventual world championship fight between Ryan Garner and Royston Barney-Smith to get a big crowd. [Post edited 18 May 21:19]

Whilst i can understand why Ryan wants to box at StMarys i think he should of landed the world tile first. Unless there is some serious sales soon , i think it will be cancelled. I dont see why Saints should pick up and costs.

Yes, I can understand why he's keen to fight at St Mary's, but the promoters should have advised him to wait. This fight isn't high profile enough to fill a stadium. | |

This is the type of thing I would be up for, and I have been asked to go, but 75 squids for me is a lot of money for one ticket. I know it’s the world championship up for grabs, but christ.
I’ve been to about four Garner fights and paid up then (less than this though) but why is Boxing one of those sports where you can physically feel the promoter stealing money out of your pocket. It’s a no from me… |  | | |
