Saints At Arsenal The Verdict on 09:51 - Dec 17 with 418 viewsSonicBoom

i can't decide if I'm happy we got a draw away at Arsenal to go third - or really annoyed that we played a team in 15th, with zero confidence, dominated the ball and failed to win.

Once the dust settles I suspect I'll be very happy to be third.
There were some good performances last night - I thought that Adams played very well which is becoming the norm - but a few were off the pace and it cost us. It's not quite working for Armstrong right now. His passing and final ball were wasteful when we had good opportunities. And Bertrand was driving me mad. He seems to turn down the chance to go forward these days when he has a lot of grass in front of him, and he dwells on the ball before passing it straight to the opposition!
Minor gripes though, the bigger picture is we are currently 3rd and it's fair to say not actually playing as well as we can. That's a fantastic achievement and they all deserve credit.
It wasn't long ago that the discussions at work were that we couldn't see where our next win would come from. Now we look like we can trouble any team in the league.

Obviously we are invisible to the media who don't seem to see us sat there in 3rd, but who cares. We can sit and admire the table for the rest of the week before we giving City a good spanking on Saturday !

It annoys me that the 'pun dicks' still keep mentioning the 0-9 defeat.
