Looks like he might have a role to play next year. When he first played, I remember people saying what quality he was. Then he showed he also had an ego and attitude problems. Worth a go or get rid for a small fee? Could be a quality player in midfield if his attitude is right.

Get rid. Charlie big bollix. Once he's signed a contract to play somewhere - he pulls constant sickies. He wants the money but doesn't want to put the effort in.

* Please note SFC ; I am free to drive Lemina to Newcastle whenever it suits - free of charge.

£4m seems a reasonable price for him. Can’t understand why Newcastle are quibbling. Has quality but not suited for us.

He’s arguably better than most in the squad. He played a bit last season so maybe he’s grown up a bit. I doubt we’ll sign anyone better if he goes, which is always my criteria for selling; can we get anyone better?

I agree with you it should be criteria, but all we have to go on is his form two years ago when he played his last game for us so can we get anyone better ? The answer is yes anyone who played for us last season is better because they wanted to be here.

Certainly warmer than Newcastle! I thought the way Ralph was talking him up that perhaps it had been decided to keep him. I guess we need the money more.

He's being sold to Nice for £4 mill including bonuses for the player. So, I wonder how much that leaves?

At least we've managed to get rid of him for good this time. He'll probably go on to continue a mostly disappointing career much like Carrillo.

If he had been total rubbish from the start it wouldn’t be so bad (well it would, but in a different way) but knowing that he can play makes you wonder what goes on in these guys heads. My brother is a Fulham supporter and said that he was ok and had a solid rather than spectacular season. Sounds like we will lose around £10m on him which sucks, but the main thing is it is more of the dead wood gone for good and less of a drain on the wage bill. It will be interesting to see if the situation with Williams changes now (or Armstrong).
