Blind applications, now there's a good idea. Surely, that's the way forward. Interviews could be carried out via zoom, not showing your face and a neutral voice! That way, people would get the job purely by merit, not by anything else and they couldn't be accused of racism, sexism or anything else. |  |

Whilst I agree with the principle of employing who you think is the best person, when there is a large disparity in the work force be it by gender, ethnicity etc, I don’t think it hurts to load the process somewhat until there is a reasonable balance. Most people can do most jobs adequately given the right training and opportunities. I would draw the line at specialist recruitment where a specific skill set is required. |  | |  |
