We do think that , because he is useless and killing the club. The only difference is GAO would have to slightly care about the club in order to ban anyone

If Gao wanted to kill the club then he would have pocketed the £30 million from the sale of Ings and taken the £120 million he was offered by some chancer earlier in the year.

I understand why some arent happy with Gao, but lets not get all frothed at the mouth about him killing the club, look at the hard facts, yes if we get relegated Gao's value from potentially selling the club will plummet, he could easily bail and at least guarantee some return from his investment.

Lets be honest here the Premier League is finished in it's current format, we need to jetison the big clubs to a European Super league..

Unless you hit paydirt with basically an Arab Oil Rich Country buying you, you can't compete, Gao or any owner sticks £100 million into the transfer pot then if he is lucky we will get to 8th, he spends £100 million to get about £10 million back in increased revenue for league position, look at Everton, Aston Villa etc, no better than us.

This is wrong on so many levels........

Ive said this several times, but you keep brushing over it, as it dosent fit your agenda. Villa will pay Ings fee over the duration of the contract Ings signs with them. So Saints will have got at best 6 mill this summer once Liverpool got their sell on fee and loyalty bonuses etc are paid.

Assuming Gao accepted 120mill offer, he would be losing approx 80mill. If he was happy he would still have to get Kat to agree to the sell as she has the power to veto any deals.

Im not frothing, its a fact we are playing relegation roulette. When we go down, its probably going to be a similar experience to last time and an administration.

Totally agree the prem is finished, as much as i love saints and want them to do well, they have no chance and its all a bit pointless.

You are right about Ings fee, but over the past few years there have been plenty of other transfers out in the four years since Gao joined around £180 million all of which would have been coming in in installments in that time.

He could have dripped out some of the Virgil Van Dyk cash for instance, £20 million here and there over the last four season, he could certainly have got a fair chunk out.

I have no agenda on it other than Im sick of people continually stating that Gao is killing the club etc etc, without really understanding the situation,

You seem to have a grasp of it but not what the solution is and the potential pit falls of any solution, you seem to want an owner that invests, but dont seem to see that investing solves little, Everton have an owner that invests but what have they done in the last 6 years.

We are now working to a business plan, that hopefully wont leave us bankrupt if we did get relegated

We seem to agree the Premier League is screwed, till the top clubs leave we have to work with what we have got not fantasise about what we might have, or perhaps have nightmares about the type of owner who is mainly out there at the moment, the type who bought Burnley and immediately leaveraged the club with debt to get their money back.

No one has yet to show me a solution to the situation we are in.

My agenda is that we could have a far far worse owner one that will load us with debt and push us into a situation like Pompey that is unrecoverable.

The right owner comes along and I would be very happy but it has to be the right one, not just some chancer or hedge fund, give Gao his due he has not sold us up the river.

"Lets be honest here the Premier League is finished in it's current format, we need to jetison the big clubs to a European Super league.."

The superleague was thrown out last season, and it aint ever going to happen. Don't you follow the new Nick?

The general way forward is for all the other clubs bar the top 6 to bring pressure on the PTB to reverse the foreign TV deal made a few years back, and reset to more level playing field. Will that happen though, don't hold your breath.

Your only solution is to find a lot more local lads who are talented, of which some might stay, and with the growth of Bournemouth, Brighton and the re-growth of Pompey, that is going to get harder and harder. Your club has a built in mentality of taking on players and selling them on - which is why many players come to your club. Unless that changes, or a splash the cash owner comes along - you will always be a selling club

Re-growth of Pompey, like an unwanted anal wart. Haven’t they sacked most of their academy for racist abuse?

You beat me to it - what re growth of Pompey - when was they had a home grown player get into the England squad. By Home grown i mean play for Pompey and England?

My guess would be Darren Anderton but thats a guess

We've got an owner who is slowly rebuilding the club.

Oi! Divvy bollocks! He meant players who played for their home club and England contemporaneously.

Not some vicarious, ersatz, faux claim for glory on the back of long departed academy players.
