The owners expectations this season. 14:08 - Oct 2 with 1046 viewsfelly1

Surely with all the new young players being brought into the team, which as we know is all part of the owners plans.
Are they going to be satisfied with survival whilst the young guns get a seasons worth of experience?

Are they prepared to go through the ups and downs and allow the players to develop both physically and mentally, then push on the following season before we sell for a big profit.
Will they see a manager in Ralph who has kept Saints in the Prem over the last three seasons on a shoestring budget, and gamble he can achieve this again? .. Abeit with runs of defeats and a fed up fanbase.

Or will they be looking to give him the bullet ASAP and gamble on another manager improving the likelihood of our Premiership status and thus protecting their asset.

The answer is unknown. Are they ambitious owners who want more than merely surviving? Or are they happy with 17th, making some profit on a few of the young players for their business, f@ck the fans. Nobody knows.

No doubt they will be looking at saving money on paying Ralph off, sacking him after the world cup in January I expect.

So what is ambition for the owners, some would say top 6, but that is becoming more difficult with each season, the truth is 8th place is perhaps even a tad ambitious these days, so do the owners spent £60 million a season to push us up from 15th at a gain of just over £2 million per place ?

finishing 10th might look good in the League table, but spending £60 million to get £11 million in prize money isn't good financial business.

This is the reality of the Premier League in the 2020's
