... are Saints heading for League 1 again before finally rebuilding a winning side?

Given the spending last season we must be running at massive losses.

We seem to be Going Wilde again and gambling on promotion before the parachute splits.

If we don't do this then I would say administration is very likely.

Are we?

I suspect Mr. Solak has rather deeper pockets.

Not as deep as you think it seems.

We were running at a loss of several million per year under Gao where our transfer net spend was negligible.

Our transfer net spend last year was more than £150m

We were relegated

We are now in a league where most teams YEARLY TOTAL revenue is about £20-30m

Solak has a reported net worth of around £1bn. Not bad you could say but that is the total value of all of his assets, not the cash he has to hand. He's already spent close to £200m on buying 80% of SFC.

Our next set of accounts are going to show massive losses.

I think anyone that believes that Solak will foot the bill for all of this is deluded. It could ruin him and it's not his core business. Far easier just to put things into administration when the shite hits the fan.

I thought he bought the club for about £100m (??).

I just look at Sport Republic buying these bloody clubs in Turkey and France, which can never be anything other than pet projects, and there must be more money swishing around than they know what to do with.

Where is all this swishing about money coming from? All the clubs SR own are running at losses. SFC by far the worst.

Solak can't personally fund all of this.

just hope Solak doesn't bank at Natwest

still begs the question over funding a loss making black hole that no longer has the attraction of being a Premiership club

Well, they presumably didn’t acquire Goztepe and Valenciennes for nothing (???)….

Imagine it's mostly done with loans.

So when our accounts come out showing more than £100m losses ( as they logically have to as we have gone from pretty much zero net send to £150m while getting relegated) who pays the bills in terms of the transfer fee instalments we are obligated to pay and player wages, etc?

Or will this end up like it did when we were in a poundland version of the current situation under Wilde.
