If he's that good why didn't Burnley try to sign him permanently after his loan spell.
That's not a criticism because I've never seen him play , it's just an observation.

I would venture to suggest for much the same reason Tella is in Germany not Burnley, they were too tight fisted to pay anything like what the player is worth. If you look at what Burnley were offering for Tella compared to what he went for then I would reckon Man City would have just told Burnley to go away and not come back until they were prepared to table a proper offer. That’s just my assumption but if correct it would explain the reason why he’s not gone there permanently. Great from our point of view though - and it also means we are not paying an inflated over the top fee for Wood from bitter Swansea.
