Actually good to see the true crowd of just under 700, rather than the inflated league crowds of over 1200, when there are normally less than half of that actually in attendance due to the number of free season tickets they gave away.

In fairness most clubs at non league level do this, Totton don't actually give them away they are part of sponsorship deals and also the young kids teams pay a small fee as part of their package and the kids receive a season ticket each, a good marketing ploy as if an 11 year old wants to go he will usually be taken by a parent that will have to buy a ticket | |

I like to see Sholing do well, I think they will finish comfortably in mid table and it will be interesting to see how they do now they have former Eastleigh and Sutton manager Paul Doswell in charge.
But with their current set up off the pitch in terms of ground etc I am not sure they have the infrastructure to get promotion into the National League South | |
