I’m sure they could just purchase us without the need to also take on 2 other clubs.

I have a sneaky feeling that SR will bleed us dry of parachute payment monies to invest in the other clubs in their portfolio before they’d sell us.

But then Goztepe and Valenciennes would become even more worthless without the cash cow of monies from English football to prop them up.

Which surely means Sport Republic would add a significant premium over and above any sensible selling price for Saints alone.

Almost better for any buyer to buy all three, and then bin off the schmuck League clubs to buyers local to both of their areas.

Don’t be too troubled Pat because I suspect there is absolutely no chance that anyone would be daft enough to buy out Solak and our Swiss friend at the price they would want.

We just need to concern ourselves with the prospect of next season watching Preston North End on a freezing cold Wednesday night in January as we attempt to avoid another consecutive relegation.

And I thought the Branfoot era was as bad as it got.
