Almost any process like this can be delayed by expensive lawyers and Man City's owners can afford the best that money can buy.. The longer they delay it, the more they get paid.
Also, Man City don't have another club on a mission against them.
I don't know how much the Boro chairman, Steve Gibson, is spending on this, but he seems to be on a mission. I wouldn't be surprised if he's hired lawyers and private investigators to expedite the process and obtain the most severe punishment. Meanwhile, his PR team are doing everything they can to keep it in the news.
If Gibson doesn't get what he wants, it certainly won't be the last we hear of it. There are always appeals.

Surely there is no comparison between the Citeh case and Spygate.
Theirs will need 15 lawyers full time and 25 forensic accountants to unravel the various tax dodges, offshore rinky dinks and Sharia law interfaces. 3 years probably not enough time.
Our issue consists of getting answers to 3 questions....Firstly, does the kid admit it was him in the bush filming a bunch of whiners preparing to lose to us...Secondly was it his idea or did someone tell him to do it...and the last one...who the f*ck was that person.

A good lawyer would deal with that for him. He wouldn't have to answer any questions. Even in a criminal case, which this isn't, that would be the lawyer's advice. The poor kid must be feeling bad enough, as it is. [Post edited 10 May 19:00]

Totally agree...he will probably be categorised as a witness and will likely face no more than a telling off.
However he has all the smoking guns and, if he has any sense, will spill the beans ( if there are any to spill } .SFC are of course facing a slightly less favourable outcome. | | | |
