Really? What honour and integrity? We have teams getting away completely with serious and continuous financial foul play, which gives them far more advantage than Southampton wouldāve got watching a Boro training session. We were beaten in the cup semi-final by Man City who fielded a starting 11 worth around Ā£500m and bought on subs worth Ā£180m. Why arenāt they being called out by the same people who are asking for us to be kicked out of the competition?
Look at the average game of football. There is cheating which can actually affect the outcome the game from the first minute to the 98th minute.

Bearing in mind we would almost certainly contest an expulsion from the playoffs in court and the EFL could then be forced to reinstate us Iām guessing (hoping) that it will be a monetary punishment bearing in mind money is more important to Football regulators than integrity
Iām guessing we would rightly argue that as the footage taken was deleted, even though we were guilty of spying we didnāt have an advantage which was clearly demonstrated by the first half
I heard an ex Boro player on TalkSport saying heād heard that other clubs have now come forward. Thatās a load of sh!te pedalled by the Telegraph I think. Iām sure if other teams had caught us spying they wouldnāt have waited until the season was over to raise it
Quite honestly if we did pick up anything from their training session would it give us that much of an advantage. Hellberg said heās been watching tapes of all of our recent games so heāll probably have learnt as much from that. A Boro player getting away with a shirt pulling or handball in the box would have much more impact
