TimSaint added 01:29 - Dec 27 Great win and didn't throw the lead away at the end this time !! Good that the goals were spread out, but perhaps Broja deserved a goal with his performance and contribution. Wondered if Dawson should have seen red, as he tripped with his I itial challenge on Broja and then as he went down, took Broja out, not even trying to get the ball. Oh well, who cares, we won and took 4 points off WHU this season. Hopefully we follow this up with a similarly gutsy performance and result on Tuesday.

KriSaint added 11:53 - Dec 28 What a cracking game of football! Moi scored a typical Stu Armstrong goal from 25 yards with his weaker foot. 1-0. Broja was awesome with his pace - making both Masuaku and Dawson look very slow - and he deservedly got a stone wall penalty from Dawsons desperate, clumsy attempt to prevent him from running away and scoring. Initially Kevin Friend - of course - pointed towards the corner flag!!!! (he should be suspended for that!), but VAR helped us. JWP converted beautifully. 2-1. With 20 min left plus >6 min added Bednarek scored a great header - jumping highest between Soucek and Dawson, directing a great freekick from JWP into the far, low corner with no chance for Fabianski. 3-2. Deserved victory and GREAT to see Stu Armstrong getting some minutes. Stephens, Lyanco and Tella all out with Covid :( - which made Saints´ efforts to win the game even more great.
