Difficult first half, they pressed high and we struggled to beat the press. They also pushed hard when in possession and deserved their lead at the break. Can't believe people were booing at half time, after the run we have been on?
Seemed to pick better passes, and longer ones, in the second half and they started to run out of steam. All of the subs made a positive difference, Rothwell particularly my MoM for the second game running and looks a very good signing. Overall a great result and its good to see the fight and desire is there when things are not going as smoothly as we would like!

Best performance in the first half was the new stadium WiFi. Whatever RM said at halftime though did the trick. I thought before the game we had a strong looking bench at that proved to be the difference today as all the subs made an impact. Great first goal from Rothwell who for once I agreed with the in stadium motm announcement.

I’m sure in the cold light of Sunday RM will look at that first half as we cannot perform like that against better teams.

The classic game of two halves. In the first they played us like a fiddle Their press worked ours didn't Their passing was quick and accurate ours was slow and inaccurate
Then came the substitutions. In recent seasons we have been critical of substitutions made Today however everyone of them worked Brilliant management
If Haaland had scored that first goal TV channels around the globe would be replaying it 50 times a day
22+3 still unbeaten
Playing football the Southampton way

Phew! Great match to watch. Very impressed by Huddersfield. Attacked throughout and caused us significant problems. Superb comeback to win with some good goals. Thought the midfield was a bit overrun early on but fought back well. Was hugely entertaining, if a little uncomfortable at times.

What a game ! . Huddersfield played with pace and purpose and we struggled to defend against them , almost too casual at times we must watch that and not let it creep in to our game as as they showed , we got punished.

They were deservedly ahead at the break despite the ref missing a surefire penalty, and other decisions that should have gone our way ,even if we had those we were lucky not to be 3 down .

Cue the 2nd half and the 2 goals in a minute limbs will not be forgotten in a hurry ,then the equaliser again at 3.3.and ,Maras goal was something out of dream land . At 4.3 it was can we hold on for the last few minutes? But then another goal to top of a fantastic 45+13 mins for us that will live long in the memories.

We must believe now . The only down fall is the injury to Downs and Stu and che , i hope they arnt to damaged .

On to Bristol city on a Tuesday night full of confidence coupled with the knowledge that even if we do concede,we are more than capable of scoring at any time of the game to win it .

We deserved to win not only for showing fighting spirit, but for combating their bully boy tactics, the ref - who let them get away with all sorts of fouls and their awful time wasting and breaking up play tactics. They must have had the medics on 5 times FFS, numerous cramps and the keeper feigning injury !!

Hopefully they can do us a favour when they play Leeds and any other of our promotion rivals.
