Coventry have reduced the amount of tickets they give to away fans to 2500 for the rest of the season. Started against Leeds on Saturday.
I not sure block 43 went on sale for the Coventry game to Saints fans so it will be either empty or have some Coventry fans in it. |

Your 1st paragraph sums it up .
It was a meaningless and of season game . Be prepared for another 7 like that .
We are in a sticky situation as we have now 7 meaningless games then 2 very important ones and it’s going to be really difficult for us to get into form ready for those 2 play off games .
I think we have seen yesterday Martins back 4 for the remaining fixtures , unfortunately.
Still this season has in the main be enjoyable - next season in the championship probably won’t be as much . [Post edited 7 Apr 12:23]

I very much doubt away attendance would come into it for a playoff final at Wembley.

As a club we have a history of failing and not winning things or finishing 2nd - a case of always the bridesmaid never the bride.
I have seen us lose 2 league cup finals , 1 FACup final , 1 ZDS final.
Seen us finish 2 nd in the league in 84’ 2 nd in league one in 2010 , 2 in the championship in 2011.
If I lived in Leicester I’d have seen a league title, 2 championship titles , 1 league one title.
2 league cup wins and an FA cup win.
And I’d had always seen Leicester as a similar size club.
Seeing Portsmouth win a league and us fvck up again in the same season - to say I’m fed up is an understatement. |

Be prepared if we did get through to Wembley then all tickets would be sold through ticket master so at least they have a lot of experience in selling 30,000 tickets in a week .
Expect a £3.50 odd booking fee too . |

Have they gone wrong or are we where we should be which is the 4th best team in the championship. ?
Some may argue that Ipswich should on paper be below us but if you looked at their form in the 2nd half of last season is it really a surprise they continued that this season ? Personally I predicted them and Leicester would go up automatically.
The reason why we are not fighting with the top 3 has been stated many times on this thread.
The bottom line teams know it doesn’t matter how little they have the ball we will give them a chance and there’s a good chance they’ll score from it .
I’d be pleasantly surprised if we get to the Play off final I’d be amazed if we actually win it .
We need a settled team now ( as much as possible) for the last 8 games a get a bit of momentum going . The trouble is tying to get that motivation to get the momentum as we have what the equivalent of 8 end of season games with not a lot to play for . |

1) it’s nice to have a ground near the station and the town centre with plenty of pubs within a 10 min walk.
2) If we were at home on a bank holiday 5 pm ko then the pubs in town would have been full of saints fans at mid day. ( no different to any other team)
3) the pub opposite the station was a bit of a dump but very easy to get served . I was amazed how many were queuing up to get served in the outside bar when inside was relatively empty. I put down the queue for the bogs in the pub was due to how many of our fans needed use the cubical ( wonder why) the urinals most of the time empty.
4) they were very gobby after the game.
5) it seemed to take ages to get there and back. Much further then you think and I got home from West Brom for an 8 pm Ko not much later then I got back last night. |

Walker Peters is our best right back and our best left back and as others have said , if fit should always play. However like a lot of managers , Martin has some crazy ideas sometimes.
We started the season looking like every time a team attacked we were going to let a goal in. Then we seamed to have sorted it. Though we still found keeping clean sheets hard. Now we have gone back to that team that look like we are going to let a goal in every time a team attacks.
As was mentioned in the report the game seemed to change the moment Ipswich hit the post.
1 point from the 2 Easter games is poor but more importantly so is 7 points from our last 6 games . |

We won’t be in the premier league next season .
Leeds, Ipswich and Leicester are all too good for us ( and to be fair the rest of the league)
I’m not even sure over 2 legs we would beet West Brom , Norwich or Coventry when it comes down to it . |

We had a big statement win away at West Brom after our 1st defeat in ages at Bristol City so the team is more than capable.
However we followed that up by 2 successive shlt performance at home to Hull and Millwall what the team are also more than capable of .
Which is why we are the 4th best team in the championship as it stands .
We need to make sure when we are in a good run of form for the playoffs and a win Monday could be the start of that. |

You have to say hats of to both Ipswich and Leeds as both have caught Leicester and now what looked like only 1 would go up automatically now they both might and Leicester could miss out . |

As you say why the fvck did we have one for Terry Fvcking Venables .

Which is why I stated we have to win our games against Ipswich, Leicester and Leeds as that is the only way I can see us overtaking them.
We could also draw the other 2 games meaning we would have 99 points.
Very tough ask and like you said it’s hard to see where else the top 3 will drop points. |
