Well said Saint John. We are also responsible for global warming, the aids virus, Hurricane sandy and use of the word "craic". Apologies for the last one. There should be more out there like you. Ever thought of politics??

Let you in to a few secrets to good Guinness:
(1) Its muck on your side of the pond
(2) Has to be made with Liffey water only (thats the river in Dublin)
(3) 2 stage pour with no fancy shamrock design on the top (its not a cocktail FFS)
(4) Ordering is simple: Barman - what ya havin? You - Pint (never mention it by name)
(5) Never drink with food unless its Oysters and you are in Galway/West Coast
(6) Limit yourself to 4 pints at one sitting. It plays havoc with your movements!!
(7) Its muck on your side of the pond
They used to give it to pregnant women here and after you have given a blood donation, so its also medicinal....
Enjoy

Dirk,
I apologise and take back what I said about you. I was out of order.
Emotions running a bit high over this. Similar incident happened to my family albeit a long time ago.

The point of the post was football in perspective when something like this happens. Don't know if he was murdered or brought it on himself. Does that really matter when someone's kid doesn't come home from a trip like this? Think about it if it was one of yours.

He's from Ballyshannon, opposite end of the county. He moved from there about 50 years ago and all the other relations have since moved or died, so haven't been up there for a long time. Great place alright.

Gartan,
We are fairly thin on the ground but reckon there'll be a few JCLs in the pubs now we're back in the big time. There was a supporters club a few years back in dublin but haven't heard much about it since. Considering most here are either manyoo/scousers/celtic, its good to be a bit unique. You'll be along time converting them in Donegal! My old man is from there. You a local?

Has to be 93! Just a point though. Nearly all the goals are shown just once but Rooney is three times. Subliminal messages at work here.

Fair enough...but want to really believe we will have this sorted in the next two weeks. Don't think i could handle the play-offs tension.

Not too dreary at all Pete! There won't be many on here that can pronounce that correctly. Kinda continues the fishing theme

When does a retro top become retro...would my early 90s Draper with the collar be considered at this stage?
