RIP Steve Wright

The BBC have just announced that DJ and broadcasting legend Steve Wright has died suddenly at the age of 69. Pretty much grew up listening to his show on Radio 1 and gravitated to Radio 2 with him. His ‘zoo format’ shows were a blast and even in the modern era with so much choice to listen to in terms of output his afternoon show drew a listening audience of over 7 million. Sara Cox is doing her best to keep it together as she broadcasts live on Radio 2, understandably they are in bits.
RIP Steve Wright, thanks for many happy listening memories. God Bless you.

A player mentioned in dispatches in several posts by Pat from Poole has been snapped up by Ipswich on loan from Bournemouth until the end of the seaso. Good aquisition for them in the window, they need to do something as they are not on a good run of form in the League just lately

FA Cup 4th Round Ball Numbers

Here are the ball numbers for the FA Cup 4th Round draw this evening. Who do you fancy as 4th Round opponents? Can you imagine getting Eastleigh away! Obviously there is the small matter of a replay with Newport first. If that came out would they switch to SMS? Seem to vaguely remember something about the FA wanting to discourage small Clubs from doing that but not sure if anything came of it. I would think trips to Maidstone or Wrexham wouldn’t be ideal either.
