Exactly this.

Data can be manipulated so many ways and once you get caught out doing it you look pretty stoopid.

This mob have already played their card on the "% availability" front by adding in QPR Ladies, kids etc into last seasons figures.
Increase or decrease your souce data and %'s suddenly look really good or really concerning.

Returning to the subject -- I get the feeling the Frenchman is making noises to protect his rep so he's not walking into interviews with QPR shit on his shoes.
Imagine we get relegated from the position we were in mid January? That would properly blot your copybook so distancing himself from the Cohort of Heads is the way forward.
Soon forgotton is the club at the start of the season shouting loud and proud that decisions on players and positions are a collaboration that all the Heads have input into.

Have a look around the ground -- there are mass rafts of "giveaway" tickets.

Imagine having so much money that writing off £2mill a month is something you do matter of course for something you rarely see.

Mad old world we live in.

So I return to my original point.

These young lads have been picked up by the latest set of Bengal Lancers and nests have been feathered......... clearly none of them good enough and I might caveat that with a "yet" but then again :- "If you're not knocking on the door of the first team by 21 then you never will be".
Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

I know nothing but in my warped mind if you are 20 years old, a well paid football pro, but can't get a start at National League South then you best start thinking about setting up a Personal Trainer business or come to QPR to get your pension fund started.

That's a shout - will give them that one as well.

Forgot as he never really did it for us but as you say, the fee could be argued as "doing it for us".
Weird one though with a kid who never scored a goal for us!

I keep seeing this.

I can't get my head around it.

It all comes across as totally missplaced conceitedness to me.
Same as when we say Player "X" needs to be sold.

You need clubs willing to take them no?

What makes people think clubs at any half decent level are falling over themselves to take these co called prospects that a load of idiots who are clueless about football have signed? There's literally only two or three good examples in recent memory that you could cite -- Chair to Stevenage, Eze to Wycombe and (pushing it here), Lumley to Brizzle Rovers.
None of those under the current incumbents of Heads of xxxx

Where else has us loaning out young players benefitted the accepting club, QPR and in turn the developing player? Examples are rare as hen's teeth and if I'm the Chairman / Owner of another club I'm not looking to extend my budget, potentially upset my squad or risk derision from my fans just to accomodate a punt QPR with their track record have taken.

Maybe I'm wrong but the current lack of our players at any sort of half decent level is either down to this and/or the absolute dearth of contacts Nourry and his team of Heads have in the game.

Surely anyone with some sort of football knowledge can see Esquidinhia would be eaten alive in League One or Two? I've described him as the worst Brazilian since Gemma Collins shaved her fanny and I stick by that. I actually feared for his wellbeing at Oxford but always did have a tiny voice in my head saying "he's putting that all on.... doesn't like to be hit hard". I'm a harsh old w@nker I know but being available for selection a week after being stretchered off in a leg brace with gas and air being given has justified that feeling to me.

I'd also add other "developing" players to that - Bennie has razzled in a blinder against a Hull side leavign space everywhere, but where would a recieving club actually look to play him? It seems the club who owns him doesn't know itself what his position is. He's been with us nearly two season's now hasn't he?
The other Aussies will be exactly the same I'd say - extensive and far reaching data and profiling by the same Agent might be a clue.

Just as I finish typing the GK in Murphy springs to mind.
Mmmmmm.... maybe but Barnsley weren't grumbling when he was pulled out and sent to Hillsborough.

I'm all for loaning out players to learn their trade in the mens game but the fact is they need to have something about them to enable that.
Maybe Nourry will examine this when he reviews himself this summer in his own Staff Performance Assessment - he'll probably give himelf 11 out of 10 though.

For me it's a FAIL at the moment and shows no sign of improving.

I did say Mbenge would cost us this season.

We'd probably be safe now if it wasn't for his "brain" meltdown then

He has cost us and cost us big.
That moment really was sliding doors as to have won that and followed it up with the Cov win would, I'm sure have meant we didn't revert to the Stoke & Poxford away slop at Charlton.

Oh well.

I'm intrigued to see how the Frenchman and the cohort of "Heads of" arrest the latest Death Spiral after the Boro defeat..............

Anyone watch the games via moody means?
If so I’ve heard your feed has started showing Sheff Weds games live instead of QPR?
I did see something that the club has moved away from iFollow which might explain it.
This same issue was rumoured to be the case on Tuesday so people had to watch on SkySports so no Sinton and Tyler comms.

I know nothing of such things, merely noting what I’ve heard

Sorry but those stats need to be put into context.

QPR Ladies have 11 players ever present, Tiger Cubs a 95% appearance constant and the kids on the South Africa Road astro turf have only expereinced one injury where Jamal from Number 87 tripped over the loose bit of 5G by the penalty spot.

Meanwhile back on Planet Reality........

No wonder the back five look all at sea as the only thing constant is change.
That's why things look better with Steve Cook starting as he is the voice of experience organising things.

Nowhere on the pitch have partnerships been able to develop, telepathy missing, patterns of play shifting week to week due to the churn of players.
I know nothing of the fella but the more facts that come out the more I want Williams' head on a stick alongside the goon who keeps signing players as robust as a balsawood riot shield!

Sorry your favourite players can't play every week.

What absolutely astounded me at the time, and still does, was the amount of people behind all this clapping the players off.

After that “effort”

Up to you if you want to do that I suppose but for me personally it’s another demonstration of how low our standards are as a whole club.

The players getting involved sits somewhere between performative bollox and poor professionalism (the latter is an art they’ve mastered)

Who was the last owner of QPR who knew anything about footballl
at 20:58 25 Feb 2026

The ownners don't need to be clued up on football.

They just need to have the nose and the nouse to appoint the right football people and be present and invested in more than just banknotes.

When did that last happen?

Ooooooh... lemme see now..... 2010 when Amit took up the mantle with Ishkan and pushed Tango & Dwarf into the shadows; a fully respected football man took up the mantle, was backed and look what happened.
Admittedly there was financial clout and the FFP rules weren't a thing but the other feat was they kept us up with ease when their was a regime change the season before.

I'm sure the club are reading this and shouting "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED SIR!!"

We do love a death spiral, especially this time of the year.

N'arich just two wins behind us at the moment.
That'll happen.......... Sam will be chuckling in his cardigan whilst gently going backwards and forwards in his fireside rocking chair with three finger of Glennfidch on ice when it does.

I'd very much like us to get two wins and two draws soon as so a relaxed end to another joyful season can be had.

Wasn't there rumours of a few of the first team squad thinking his fitness approach was pants and using their own private PT's at the start of the season as they themselves felt they weren't fit enough?

Not 100% on this but I am sure that was the whisper.

This is also rumoured to be the fella who verbally destroyed a young player in front of his Senior peers - again not 100% on that but was commonly accepted.

Not looking good is it

Walsh
at 22:17 24 Feb 2026

He looks what I describe as a “playground keeper”.

Will throw himself in and pulls off the occasional eye catching save

However, is he cool, calm and collected enough to make the right decisions at key moments?
Can he concentrate for the whole game?
Does he control and communicate to the outfield players as game is going on?
Is he all that with a presence?
If the answer to those is yes then he’s a keeper who’ll earn you 9 to 12 points a season

Walsh ticks none of the boxes for me.
The second goal is totally on him and, conceded by it how and at the time he did, it’s the game killer.
The palm out I’d also blame him but with a bit of luck it doesn’t drop as plum to their man. The 4th is as unforgivable as the 2nd…. total Weetabix hands there
(If you want to be harsh then his positioning for the first not good)
