Are you sure it's W2, I think it's W1? |

I didn't go today but on Wednesday night walking back thoroughly p*ssed off there were fans singing "we scored a goal" and "we got a point", I just don't understand it, I guess I'm getting too old and grumpy! |
 | Forum Reply | Tall Paul was good last night at 10:58 3 Apr 2025
Sorry can't agree, I think he's slow and lazy, he won/held up very few balls last night and his goal was lucky, free header in the middle of goal and it just squeezes in thanks to poor goal keeping, maybe I saw a different game as I've just got no enthusiasm left. Not helped when our best player on the night is then substituted at a very crucial time defending a lead going in to additional time? Tall Paul can follow Ivan the Terrible out of our club. |
 | Forum Reply | Will you renew your season ticket next season? at 12:31 16 Feb 2025
At the moment you have 3 renewing, 1 renewing but changing seat, 1 not renewing, 1 purchasing a new season ticket and 1 not buying a new ticket. So as it stands 80% are going to renew but your poll currently states 42.9% and you have 50% of non season ticket holders thinking of purchasing a new season ticket. |

Hi Pat, you have too many options here, if you are trying to work out those that are not happy and will vote with their feet it has to be current season ticket holders only and either yes, no or still undecided. Asking if non season ticket holders will or won't purchase a season ticket doesn't help what you are trying to prove? |

Just read the Echo's questions and answers with Ivan, I know things can be lost in translation and reading in black and white is not the same as listening but what he says is just unbelievable rubbish, if you were unaware of our position you would think everything was going swimmingly! That 10 minute read has made me even more depressed! |

I think and I stand to be corrected, this will be the first time in my 50 years of going that B'muff are easily the superior team, that's how sad it's got, I admire your "cheer leading" Nick, I'll attend but have had the stuffing knocked out of me, so not looking forward to another nil five! |

Agree he came on against Norwich in the first home game last season, changed the game when we were losing to help get the draw, doesn't seem to have been given much of a chance since then which is strange as he obviously has talent? |

Just a thought but to me this seems like a smoke screen, Spuds/Levy just trying to apease their fans due to their very poor form and league position, through out the whole game at St Mary's they were slating Levy, can't see any truth in this rumour at all? |

I think I said Suga for Capt Jack was a good substitution and led to the goal, from my seat and IMO Bednarek had a great game, he gave it his all and you could see his relief/joy at the off side decision and final whistle , like for Leciester's 3rd goal when he was so pi**ed off with the team/situation? |

The subs today were a lot better, Aribo at HT, IMO he added some steel, a few stray passes but generally got stuck in and tried to go forward, obviously Sugulara for Captain Jack got the assist and he kept AA on and he scored as well as bringing on Dibbling, the last 2 subs just bought height on rather than anything else to see the game out, hopefully Everton hitting the bar is the turning point of our season??? Let's see what we serve up next week but I'm enjoying tonight! |

Agree, other than his goal Archer was non existent, Tall Paul at least tried to hold the ball up or flick it on, but he was isolated other than the one header to the speed merchant with no end product. I think we need to try Tall Paul and AA up front, we can not play one midget striker at home to another relegation favourite? Play 2 up front with Dibbling in a free role behind them? |

Hi Chesham, always appreciate your views, today was more than disappointing, I'm not a happy clapper but I'm not sure who can do any better with this lot, for what it's worth, IMO, who will the board get in??? Another Nathan Jones type??? Again IMO who ever is in charge of our transfers is the problem, we "wasted" millions on 2 potential CB's, millions on players loaned to our sister club, millions on two failed Sheffield United strikers from last season (admittedly Archer scored today but did little else). Other than Ramsdale we did not invest, last May we needed a top class goalkeeper, top class striker, an experienced/reasonable CB and to retain THB and Downes, we got 3 of the 5 needed and that is the problem regardless of who is managing them, as I say my opinion! And why Fernandez was taken off and Lalana not introduced is a mystery and is down to the manager, so maybe a new manager could make a difference but that person needs PL experience, which I can't see us getting? |

Also, out of interest, it would be good to see how Pep and co did at a team like ours, without the money to buy sucesss, like the England job, we currently have some top players so is it really that difficult to pick a team that can win, you go with the players in form in their correct positions, basic 4-4-2 and 80 to 90% of games you should easily win (man on the street or Pep). Good substitutions when needed against the better opposition and given our good raft of players we should win. Just drop the rubbish of playing it out, best RB in some kind of hybrid midfield role, constantly playing a striker who's not fit/in form, I know it's easy from the side lines but Mr Pizza Advert mucked up, we had a golden chance but he kept to playing his buddies/the ones the press wanted in the team and was a headless chicken? Obviously my opinion but for £6m/year I'd put up with any press obuse and believe I could of done better with the players he had the choice of in the summer? |

Sorry but I'd have him back, offers a lot and is an experienced PL player which we need, i.e, took one for the team today, on Monday we just got out the way to allow B'mouth through! |
 | Forum Reply | Why RM teams concede so many goals at 21:27 6 Oct 2024
PL or Championship, it's the same, unless your so superior with the players you have this will never work, we struggled last year against absolute sh*t because we are not good enough at the possession at the back game and this was not improved by our summer signings. For a club with our financial clout this is not the tactic we need to win games of football, wake up RM! |
 | Forum Reply | Brighton Game at 21:09 6 Oct 2024
Only listened to the commentary on 5 live, all I heard was 40m player, 30m player and 25 m player signed by Brighton this summer and that didn't include O'Rielly who is injured, that sums up the difference as to where both teams are, Brighton, same size if not smaller investing in players and us investing in the possible what if/next best thing to sell? Says it all, we are not interested in success just the next player we can sell on for millions, so regardless of the manager it won't change until we get owners who want success on the pitch? |
