I've been watching the big match and it only just srtuck me how good Charlie George was. He was immense for us yet cost us pennies. In the early 80s when I first started going and my memory is a bit dubm to say the least. He was a great player for us. Maybe no Channon, Nickhol, Golack or Keegan but not far off. I love my club thick or thin for over 5 decades
I hope not much changes but I would like us to screw down some of the loan players or cheap players that we've made better. I'm thinking Toby andervwhatever, Victor wanna make and I can't believe I'm Saying this but his one season for us was brilliant and thats the, day love bloke (best defender in the world 😆) he actually said that. More recently its not been that great to be fair. But we've still let good players go. Hopefully we now will be able to stop that. I would like to think we would get the odd gem like Ryan Bertrand, maybe a deli Ali or lingard. But you'll tell me if I'm dreaming I'm sure
What was your first ever FA cup game? Mine was Saints v Arsehole 1978. My dad took me and we sat in the west stand at the Dell. I think we got beat 2 - 0 but I was hooked anyway. My old man was a skate but said I should support saints so I could go and see them as I grew up because they were my local side. He was a proper gent and I miss him every day. R.i.P. Lowy.

Do you go or watch the games. Because a lot of you seem to have opinions that are from such a blindsind it amazes me. JWP has been one of our best players, puts in 100% every week and yet you moan.
At some point ralph will walk away. In his eyes last night you could see that he was drained. He had no baking at all from the board and yet seen more players go out the door. If he doesn't leave us soon his stock will drop and he will never get the dream job. We are now at a crossroads, one 9 nil is hard to take but two in two years. On another thread on here someone pointed out that we can see where we need signings yet the club did nothing (again). In my humble opinion we need to get rid of our asset stripping owners while we still have something left to sell. We have one owner that uses us as a meal ticket and another to launder money and hold his wealth abroad.
It will be Ralph getting shot of us not the other way around. Personally I felt he felt obliged to stay last time, this time its clear its Gao and the board. Why would you stay and ruin your brand? He's a top manager that we have let down. He deserves better than than us. You could see the love for us drain away last night. Personally I hope he stays. But if he does go I wish him the best of luck because he deserves better than us. Its Gao and his money laundering that had done for us.
I have criticised Jack over previous seasons for his poor positioning and rash decisions but have felt that this year he has improved as its moved on especially after the 3 month break. My feelings are now that with Salisu coming in jack should be his partner at first over Bednerek although it could be either or. I would be interested to hear what you think.
