Can't fault our players for lack of effort? Were we watching the same game? Adams spends most of his time skipping, Bazunu constantly went long, Mara barely saw the ball & Lyanco if not fit for shitt city let alone us, although he does run but there's more to the game than that.

A new broom sweeps clean.... Hughes by and large has been picking the same team as MP2 up until October time. Gabbi still starts on the bench (apart from Watford) our youth gets farmed out and new signings don't get played. New manager please, we no Hughes is crap and that won't change and a new man needs time.
I would say also it wasn't down to Hughes that we stayed up either, our results never improved. 1 win in 8 did the club really get him in to win 1 game and then think that's the standard we're looking to achieve, 1/10 win ratio? It must be they've given him their backing and said they're happy. |

Gabbi wouldn't have been picked anyway. It's like our last two managers just don't like him. I personally would love to see him get more game time over Long. PEH has got more goals this season than Long in the last two and Long has had plenty of chances he just can't finish, you could make a DVD of his misses and times he's slipped or got in the way of others shots.
People keep saying it's his contribution but he hasn't even got lots of assists. Something needs to happen, try the youngsters as today against Liverpool is going to be tough so what is there to loose. We no what Long can or can't do and Austin won't have the legs against Gomez and Vvd. |

I think Watford could trip us up. They are a good side now and bought well in the summer.
