Saints Player Of The Year - The Candidates
at 13:03:32

Spot on Nick - its a shame that the award can't be shared between Morgan and Jack. If it weren't for the number of yellow cards he's picked up, Morgan would be even closer, but agree that Jack just shades it. Overall, a brilliant season all round, with no real weak links now - people will point to our central defenders, but look at Man City's defending against Spurs where even Kompany made a number of poor decisions, and I don't recall many people saying he's a bad player. I think our goals conceded record over recent games, show how much this area has improved. Chapeau Saints!

Saints Get Away With It
at 14:21:59

QPR's gone and there's no point worrying about it now; we picked up three bonus points against Man City to be able to take that loss on the chin. Agree with Reedy that we'll be doing well to get one or two points from the next three games, but despite this, we should just about be OK if we can beat West Ham & West Brom - these two games are likely to be pivotal. Fortunately for us, there are four teams that are probably marginally poorer than we are, although we may well need to beat Stoke on the last day to be sure. Wigan v Villa that day will be a huge game...

Reading Match Moved For TV But Date & Time Still Not Set
at 14:48:30

Its also a shame as I believe there was a planned charity bike ride from St Marys to the Mad Stad scheduled for the Saturday, arriving in time for the original KO time of 3pm. This Saints Foundation event was, I believe, raising funds for the Hants branch of ABF, the soldiers charity. Not sure what the arrangements will be if its moved to a Monday evening slot. Swansea or Spurs??? Despite this I will still be cheering on the British team - and blaming Sky for messing around with the scheduling.

Saints V Manchester City The Preview
at 23:10:05

For an interesting (and rather more considered than most pundits) take on our prospects for tomorrow:

Think our injury will be a factor, but another close game to look forward to.

Important To Get At Least A Point This Weekend
at 09:41:07

"Indeed this very week eight years ago, February 6th to be exact we let in a last minute goal at home to Everton to draw 2-2 a look at that final table of 04/05 shows that those two points dropped would have been enough to send us above Norwich, Palace and West Brom and to safety."

Wasn't that the game where we played them off the park, the one where the ref failed to spot a nailed on handball from Everton, and where someone (in this instance Crouch, who could have run the ball into the corner, but gave away possession) stopped concentrating in the final minute, which cost us a deserved victory? Plus ca change plus c'est la meme chose, as they say in Portsmouth.

All Change On Saturday ?
at 18:35:18

Agree with bstokesaint, lets keep things in perspective; regardless of who plays on Saturday and the result, the management deserves 100% support. Maybe to soon for the new boys (or not) but whoever plays is already more experienced, so let's relax, enjoy the game and see where we are at the end of the year...
