When are you next hopping over the pond pal? It must be cold there this time of year. |

Sorry mate I’ve just read it all. It started off very boring, so I scan read the rest...my apologies. Anyone can take a fall at any age and it can hurt. Hope your ok. It did start off as a right moan though. Haha, all the best :) |

Fookin hell that was a boring post Blue. You said “eventful” more like a bunch of first world problem flakes getting their knickers in a knot. No offence mate you are a decent poster, but that is a laughable joke. |

Don’t go too hard on him. You’d miss his posts the same as me if he threw his mums dinner tray over his superman bedspread. |

The way I see it. We had a core of decent players that took us back up to the Prem. Lambert being the most influential. When a team wins promotion they have momentum for a while as their used to winning. Reed and whoever selected the successful transfers carried on from there, along with 2 good appointments in managers. It started to go to rat sh1t when whoever was the main influence in transfers disappeared. Reed believed his own hype and cooked up the “model” of buying 10-20k players to sell on for huge profit. It failed! The fat German, who’s no fool, knew the right time to sell and spin a load of BS about the new owner. We now have an owner who no one knows who’s motives are for running a Premiership club. Well he’s not in it for the love. He’s as shady as fook. We need to start making a noise of getting rid of this 80% merchant. Premiership clubs need investment to sustain themselves in this league. He’s not going to do it! Get rid of the Coont! |

He was boring mostly, but there were some great matches too. Liverpool away was fairly decent I seem to remember in the cup, If you support Saints you have to realise we are and always have been a small/medium sized provincial club who punch above occasionally. I’ve seen us win one major trophy. I remember in 2003 after the game in Cardiff speaking to Arsenal fans. They almost seems indifferent to winning the FA cup as at the time they won the cup or at least appeared in the final almost every year it seemed. And I just thought to myself if only you knew how much it meant to Saints fans to have won the FA cup on that day.... In summary, accept who we are as a club. If not then go and support a top 4 side. |

As a global businessman what advice would you offer to help us achieve success on the pitch and as a business? What would be your 3 to 5 year plan to achieve some form of realistic progress? |

I can’t face it anymore, it’s become a nightmare. GAO & kat are toxic. The Puel success period seems a distant memory now. |

I suggest you start using a pen and a piece of paper. |

Corfu was an 18-30 job, so I didn’t give a sh1t what the place was like as long as I had a fill of crumpet. It was a great holiday though, I can’t remember the name of the place I stayed, began with B, that’s all I remember. I loved the islands back then, they were unspoilt. |

Yeah, I know someone who goes every year and has done for donkeys, he loves it. I had a hire car for the 2 weeks so did get to see quite a bit of the island, not all of course as it’s pretty big. As you say it’s fvcking hot. It was around 100 degrees when I was there, if you like heat rising off concrete and burning your achilles tendon then it’s an ideal place. I found it to be almost 3rd world in some places, very poor areas with no charm, just dirty and scruffy. The beaches were just bog average in my opinion. I wouldn’t go again if you paid me 5 figures, a proper sh1thole in my opinion. I don’t know how many islands I’ve done, quite a few, well over 20 I’d say. We used to island hop using the ferries. Fly to Athens and then get the ferry from Piraeus. You’ve just reminded me, Santorini was very nice. Again it was over 30 years ago. I expect it too is now overcrowded. |

Your 30 years too late for most of the islands. Crete is the biggest sh1thole I’ve been to. It’s the only place where after a week I seriously considered getting an early flight home, a fvcking dump it is. Paros used to fantastic but I’m going back to nearly 40 years ago that I was last there. I’ve heard it’s another sh1thole now. And as for Corfu that’s always been a sh1thole. |

Yeap, a good point. I thought we were on a bit of a slide prior to final whistle today. This should hopefully see us build a bit of stability. I’ll leave the pedantic views to others, ha. Enjoy the rest of the weekend all! |

How much did the Barker one go for if you don’t mind me asking? I enjoyed watching his career. |

You’ve pricked his little self important bubble. He obviously did something very important with very important people while on a very worthwhile visit to the area, or so he thinks. Quite amusing though watching him get all upset with the comments being made about Leeds. Sums “I Only Tell myself” up. |
