Rangers loan player in defence for Braintree right now. Trent Randall. Looks quite good for the level. |

Maybe a goodbye for Fox if he wants more games somewhere. Maybe Salter has been carrying a knock through the games we needed him. No point speculating really. If we get a serious offer he’ll go and we’ll find someone else. |

Also, and I’m guilty of jumping on many of his mistakes as much as anyone and found much of his goalkeeping infuriating, we don’t know what instructions they’re given. The one against Leeds looked like he should be claiming it easily at the time but the replay suggested he probably just about made the right call or at least an understandable one. Then you see Blackburn’s second goal yesterday and see the folly of goalkeepers sometimes trying to come for something they’re getting nowhere near. |

Cook was very complimentary in the comments which is probably a better insight than any of us can give. Appreciate social media for footballers is often performative but I get the impression he’s popular in the ‘group’. |

Birmingham are doing £2 pints which I can see ending badly as the hordes swarm the pitch after an insipid 0-0. |

The guy - forgotten his name now- wrote a few books on them but died 2/3 years ago unfortunately. The books aren’t bad. Dave Roberts. |

No mate. Birmingham, Ipswich and Leeds are on. |

Had planned to go to Worthing as it would be a new ground and not far from me. Website crashed immediately and loads of real fans missed out. Anyone who could get through could buy four and now we’ve got touts for a division six match. Locals not happy. |

Looks a lot leaner than he often has. Still no, obviously. Thanks for the memories. |

37 games, 7 wins this season for Jonah says Soccerbase. |

He’s a nice player in theory. The reality is he offers fk all in about 90% of games and Cifuentes has observed that after seeing plenty of him. |

Yeah that’s why I had a look from Feb. The relatively low tally until then can easily be excused for having to deal with the aftermath of the Ainsworth debacle. |

1.75 ppg from Feb which is 80.5 when extrapolated which is firm playoff form. The Warnock team got 88 and the Redknapp team 80. |

I wonder how many are aware how much worse it will be than this year. |

He’ll blag a decent deal somewhere. One of those players managers think ‘there’s a player in there somewhere’ (there is not). I’ll guess Derby. |
| Forum Reply | School. End Friday at 13:40 29 Apr 2024
2000/10% at our level. I guess it comes down to what the actual capacity is. I thought that upper tier was 1850 but that must include the corners. If you rope off enough of the lower school you bring capacity down but that’s counter-productive. 16677 on Friday so Leeds would’ve had a couple of hundred over the 10% with that bit of the lower tier but a smidge under without it so you either open up a bit more of the upper tier if that’s possible or have a few downstairs. |

I know a few very decent Leeds fans but as a club and support base they’re unbelievably arrogant for a club that has done nothing for 20+ years, won the league over 30 years ago and spent the vast majority of the last 40 years outside the top division entirely. |

Fancied us from when Paal got that equaliser at home to Hudds but didn’t give us a hope when Cifuentes took over. That Ainsworth team, last season and this, was atrocious. More talented but as bad as the team at the turn of the century. Whether it’s the skill of the medical guys or luck, for all of Cifuentes’ ability and the signings made, it’s the fitness of the players that has kept us up for me. I don’t dislike Fox or Dunne but if either had had to play many games at CB over Cook/Clark-Salter we’d probably be where Huddersfield are now. Getting Willock vaguely firing has been huge. Even keeping Dykes fit rather than having to play Sinclair for a prolonged spell from the start has made a difference as much as I don’t rate Dykes. 45 points would’ve kept us up last season so we’ve had no choice but to get quite a lot better in what I’d argue is a stronger bottom of the league. |

It’s crap. One of the worst modern grounds IMO in every respect. Peterborough despite the horrors of last season is good fun and Barnsley is quaint. Bolton is awful. Much more importantly Worthing face Braintree in the Conference South Final on Bank Holiday Monday. [Post edited 29 Apr 7:18]
