And to continue the love for Kone, that's where I'd be looking for players going forwards. League 1, the Championship, the odd foreign buy like Madsen. But build a tough team of Kones. |

I don't know. If you had to say what his style is, what would you say? Passive. Long balls. We barely press. I get we have injuries but we were playing poorly before Christmas too. Today, come out and have a go. We were 14th, they were 16th. Why be so bloody passive in the first half, letting them pass it around where they liked? Marti was so much better and got so much more out of a worse squad. True, he lost it towards the end but he had Nourry briefing against him. Stephan is Nourry's man. That's pretty terrifying tbh - this style of play is ill-suited to this league. |

First half was embarrassingly easy for them. We had one shot on target apart from the disallowed goal that I can recall - Vale's free kick which was routine. We might have equalised if the goal stands but the first half was dire, injuries or no injuries. And the crowd is definitely beginning to turn. Was surprised how voluble the cheering was when Varane got subbed. If they're on the beach already, it's going to be a tough last 11 games. |

100%. And you'd only have to look at Millwall to see what you can do with our budget if you appoint the right people. Know what kind of club we are - a strong manager who knows this league and a DoF who isn't fresh from the Quad. [Post edited 28 Feb 17:44]

On the positive side, only five home games left then I don't need to waste my time again till August. Small mercies. When the most entertaining aspect of our performance is the 'Lino, lino, you're a c***' chant, it's hardly Brazil 1970. Hell, it's not even Alan Brazil 1986. |

He is clueless. Yes, we have injuries but what exactly is our game plan? The crowd are turning. Varane was cheered off. Think this season is going to get much worse - if he's still there for Millwall, that could be the tipping point. |

Dreadful again. Epitomised for me by the sight of Nourry and Hoos in the stand. Stealing a living. We need to clear out the charlatans, the myriad of performance muppets, the clueless manager who spends the match staring at a screen yet has no discernible game plan. Get in a Warnock/Wilder figure. That's what kind of club we are and should be. |

The end of the season can't come quick enough. Looking at our fixtures there are some tricky away games, so wouldn't be surprised if we get another couple of tonkings - bearing in mind their form, our pathetic record in London derbies and being on the beach by then, Millwall away could get nasty. The home matches don't look too bad so at least no repeat of the 5-0 in our final home game last season. [Post edited 26 Feb 15:33]

It's a real red flag that Nourry and co. won't front up and are behaving like a North Korean dictator with rehearsed questions. I know we take the piss out of the free-for-all questions about water pressure in the Ellerslie Road toilets but our season and entire buy-low-sell-high model have been torpedoed by the fitness issue. To keep obfuscating will only build resentment and suspicion - I don't know whether Ben Williams is his best mate but if the only thing I hear about it is online speculation and disinformation from the club, I'm going to be inclined to believe that. |

You'd think that, like a stopped clock, they'd hit upon success eventually. It is annoying that they're so rich that they can just write that much money off each month but take no interest in running things. Imagine paying £2m a month and having a new graduate and a cycling guy running your (non-bicycle) business. |
