I'd like Illy to start. Obviously I'm basing that on him being fit enough to make the bench and play briefly on Saturday but with our performance team who knows what 'fit' is and what it isn't.
But based on old school fitness, it would be nice for him to play given Madsen being injured and Vale being nondescript. |

They must have thought Alfie was fit because Kolli was sitting on the bench too, so why would you put a half-fit player on when you're 3-1 down with 15 minutes left?
West Ham - Lamptey is made of glass so not much you can do IMO.
Derby - I suppose they could have put JCS or Morrison on instead of Mbengue and moved the defence around. The match was over anyway. Again, one assumes he was considered to be fully fit despite the heavy strapping on his knee.
Birmingham - Kone scores a 15-minute hat trick in the next game so who bloody knows. |

I genuinely don't know what his role in the side is. Every other player I can see what they are supposed to be doing, even if they have a poor game. Vale, I just do not have a clue. |

Not turning up for the last two away games is a worry but I still think we can get two wins this week. Not hugely surprised by the inconsistency when you are starting the likes of Vale against good teams away from home. Just a complete void. |

Difficult time for southern Glory Hunters. United are dross and City are facing sanctions. A few will stay loyal, hoping they come good again, but many have already jumped ship to Arsenal, significantly reducing the distance their sofa is from their 'home' ground. |

This is the problem we have had since Ruben took over. When the owner is absent, an issue like this which any supporter can see with their own eyes, is not addressed. It's why Brighton and Brentford are where they are, and we're facing Groundhog Day.
And who does Ruben delegate to? Lee Hoos, who appears to still be picking up his salary as 'Chairman', but is like a minor royal in terms of his influence, and Nourry.
Nourry surprises me. I thought he would have done something about this in the summer but he backed his mate and that could be his biggest mistake. There is no doubt we have a better squad now but if they’re not on the pitch and we finish in the lower half of the table again, he has failed, particularly considering we've spent the Eze windfall now. This was the season and if it's torpedoed by injuries again, he only has himself to blame (though it'll probably be someone else's fault). |

Assuming the Madsen injury was incurred against Derby, it does make you wonder why he was on the bench on Saturday. It might also explain Obikwu not coming on either - maybe he is still injured. It's bluffing the opposition to think you have a full house when you've got a pair of twos. Competitive advantage.  |
