He's played over 30 games in a season once in his entire career to date. Or 20 games per season for QPR on average over three seasons. Yeah, don't let those facts get in the way. But, hey, at least we get to watch him on the sidelines for a few more seasons due to the new contract. |

Sorry, but Akindileni is 17 years old so will not be anywhere near the 1st team. JCS is unable to play 20 games, let alone 40 in a season. Cook will be 34? The Brazillian lad has played 6 DS games I think. Larkeche has been playing for Dundee. Nothing more to be said about that. Friel is about 18yo. We're gonna need a much bigger boat. |

This is classic Field - doesn't move, waits for the central defender to shape to pass into the space Field should be moving into, defender turns away and looks for another option, Field then makes himself available in the space he should have been in 2 seconds earlier. Does it all the time as he is not comfortable on the ball as his body shape is completely wrong, all the time. And a sideways pass from Madsen is better than the ball going constantly backwards from Field. |

Wow, really? Here are a few- Dunne, Field, Varane, Cook, Smyth, Frey, Fox. I think you'll find that Field and Varane are the most guilty of hiding when our centrebacks are looking for an out ball. Madsen is not innocent, but they are worse. Mercifully 4 of the above mentioned 7 will hopefully be gone in the summer. |

Just want to point out to those saying he knackered by 65 minutes, as were Saito, Dembele etc. If we kept the ball better instead of booting it away then the players wouldn't spend 70% of the time running, tackling and pressing to get the bloody thing back. We need technically better players to move onwards and upwards. The trick is getting the balance right and we have too many technically poor players at the moment. |

The only one who can actually pass the ball. Broke the line by playing the first time ball several times. Still not physical enough, but I'd sooner have a player that can actually move the ball forward than another headless chicken in there. Be interesting to see what he is like next season after a summer in the gym. As I said before, he is good when the team is on the front foot. I think he might finally be starting to come good. |

I'm not a fan of his purely based on the completely lopsided summer recruitment. However putting that aside...... I am very impressed with what is happening in the DS and the youth setup. • binned off a load of deadwood coaches who were coasting. • a lot of youngsters signed in the 16/17yo bracket. • loads of youngsters out on loan at younger ages. • we've seen 16yos playing in the DS. • announced if over 18yo and not around the 1st team you'll be released. I think we underestimate how important all these things are for the future health of the club. I can see a lot of youngster, who have already played, becoming mainstays of the 1st team next season. Morrison, Kolli, Bennie, Morgan. Then we have Sutton, Tuck etc who could be pushing as well. Those are positives. |

100% agree about the lack of press, just bizarre. Regarding Madsen, he appears to be a bit of a conundrum. He doesn't run around like a looney so he gets pelters, but his link up play was very good last night. He looks like he is the sort of player who needs an arm around the shoulder rather than a hairdryer. Personally I think he would look a really useful player in a team doing well and on the front foot. I don't think it is a coincidence that last night and Luton away he looked a lot better. It says more about the state of the team rather than his lack of ability. |

A small bright light in a (yet again) dark grim season. I do like Morrison, physically strong, young and actually has a bit of pace over 10 yards. Just keep him fit. |

Some mocked Dykes on here, but at least he was fit and rarely missed a game. Didn't he play just after pneumonia? This lot are out for 6 weeks after cutting themselves shaving their legs. Weak and feckless. |

None of them will be offered new deals and rightly so. All poor or injury prone. Good riddance to the lot of them. |

A 17yo prospect should be kept as far away as possible from this bunch. Shame Morrison, Morgan and Bennie have had to be used save they are also infected with the same malaise as the rest of their older teammates. |

Alfie Lloyd holding the ball up and taking it up the pitch? FFS, he doesn't do that, at all. Three times in the first he needlessly gave the ball away due to poor passes of no more than 10 yards, all leading to breaks by Cardiff. His control is awful, his game awareness is almost nil. He also has a knack of managing to receive the ball in the least dangerous parts of the pitch. Its quite a skill. People on here need to stop defending utter crap performances and players. There was not one good performance out there. The only ones who should get a pass are Morgan, Morrison and Bennie who are all inexperienced, but will be mainstays next season. Standards and pride. Two things lacking at the club and infecting the fan base. |

If we aren't relegated this season it will happen next. We have 9 or 10(?) First team players leaving in the summer and i don't have any faith in the recruitment. The entire club is one giant sh!t sandwich. |
