Liverpool and Celtic fans rightly get abuse because they both have history of being anti British due to their perceived Irish heritage.
Personally Its very disappointing to see other clubs fans, Dundee Utd, Hibs & Hearts jump on the bandwagon as well.
Whether your anti monarchy or not you should atleast show some respect and stay silent for a minute, its not too much to ask.
So they are utter coonts as well.

We dont know that though until we have given someone else the chance to prove it. I seriously reckon any other manager in the Prem and possibly a few in the championship could do a better job with this squad than Ralph.
We've constantly been told Ralph has been hamstrung by poor players on high wages and until they are all gone then he will struggle and we should be grateful we haven't been relegated. Well he has had 4 years here now and a lot of dead wood has departed but we have not improved whatsoever.
2 years ago he wanted a small core squad and that didn't work out so before last season he wanted a bigger squad which he had but overall last season was a disaster.
He still doesn't know what his best formation and 1st eleven is and is still constantly playing players out of position. He also ignores in form players and most of his substitutions have been a complete joke.
This isn't bed wetting after 1 game against one of the top 4 teams, most of us expected to lose yesterday, but its the manner of the defeat and how many goals have been conceded yet again.
This is just a continuation of piss poor performances carrying over from last season and if we carry on persevering with him then we will be relegated with no doubt a few more heavy defeats.
Anyone else with his record would not of lasted 4 years.
He has got to go, sooner rather than later. |

Well If I am a plastic fan then that must make you a happy clappy fan boy then if you think everything is rosy and fans shouldn’t be moaning after only one game.
Its not just one game though is it, regardless of our transfers during the summer we have carried on from last season with our poor form, strange team selections and ineffective substitutions.
You are certainly in the minority with regard to McCarthy. You state he was at fault for only one goal yesterday so that’s alright then is it. Ever since Ralph’s ill-conceived plan of playing both keepers towards the end of last season its quite obvious that Forster is the better keeper out of the 2. That’s not just me thinking that but also the majority of fans on here and from what I’ve seen on different social media sites as well. With McCarthy starting yesterday and being given the no 1 squad number it seems Ralph sees something we all don’t, but this could seriously backfire on him.
As for Jack Stephens he is just not premier league standard, championship standard at best and should only be used as a last resort. Letting one of our regular CB’s leave the day before the start of the season and not have a replacement lined up is amateurish at best and so we had to play Stephens and lo and behold he made his usual lack of concentration moment and was at fault for one of the goals.
Theo should never of started, he is another squad player at best, and hopefully Armstrong will be fit enough for the Man U game but even so why did he not give Elyounoussi a go instead, he couldn’t of done any worse than Theo. We know what Theo can do, which is not a lot mostly.
As for his substitutions Ralph obviously hasn’t learnt from last season…
Judging on who else we get in during this transfer window and how Ralph can try and make this team successful given his woeful points total since January I am prepared to give him till Christmas which is a lot longer than some on here so that’s hardly bedwetting. |

With Theo signed up I am hoping the club and Ralph are starting to change their policy of only signing young and/or promising players. We need a bit of quality and experience even if they are in their late 20's early 30's. |

You really dont rate Djenepo do you.
Whilst I agree he is not a first team regular I still feel he has a future as an impact sub. I would rather keep him than Redmond who I feel has become stale at Saints and needs a move elsewhere. |

Admittingly he was never really near the first team enough but considering Ralph wants a bigger squad I'm not convinced its going to happen. |

Although I dont agree with a few of your political views I can live with that as you seem to be a decent person that can see both sides even if you dont agree to them.
This was aimed purely at this forums village idiot who constantly whines and sneers at anyone and anything that doesn't agree to his thinking and just seems to constantly put down this country and the majority of its inhabitants.

Exactly this.
Judging on last seasons performances I would of thought the majority of Saints fans would agree that Fraser is the better keeper compared to McCarthy.
He should be our no 1 and to loan him out purely because of his higher wages smacks of financial desperation.
With Gunn already gone that would leave us with just McCarthy and Harry Lewis who despite being with us for a few years has never really made any headway into the first team squad.
Short term thinking which could affect our long term viability of the club. |
