Janik off the hook
at 21:17 5 May 2021

I can't see how going down to 10 men helped us earn a point.
If Janik had stayed on the pitch we could have won the game.
How that ref sent off Janik without checking is beyond me.

Well done.
Scored 21 goals for England too .
Won 46 caps and never played in a World Cup.
Northern Ireland in 1977 was the second cap.

I said they Captained England not that they played at the same time.
Alf Ramsey Captained England, he played 90 times for Saints.

The football I saw under Lawrie's time I doubt will be bettered.
List the players he bought to the little old dell and it would make impressive reading.

Tony Blair was in residence for 6 years.
What Lord Irvine has to do with this I don't know.
When so many are struggling financially, businesses going bust, cladding fiasco and a possible tsunami of unemployment heading our way this is not the time to be spending a ludicrous amount of money on your flat.

The Labour Party grew out of the trade union movement so no surprises that it has
such influence.
It amazes me that so many cant see through all that Churchillian bluster of his.
Starmer is more than a handful for Boris, you see that at Prime Ministers Question Time, where Boris keeps looking round for applause. Unfortunately for him his big majority is not there.

Where Were You On May 1st 1976

Coached up to Wembley with a very lively lot.
Coach left Wembley very quickly so didn't see all the action in the coach park.
One United fan decided to run along the coach for whatever reason for about 2 miles.
Bridges over the motorway were crowded with well-wishers.
Me and my mates took our wives round town on a pub crawl to beat all pub crawls that night.
All seems like a dream now.

It wasn't just about Brexit.
A lot of people couldn't see Corbyn and his Shadow Cabinet as a credible Government.
Corbyn was all over the place with Brexit.
The election result didn't mean such a majority was for Brexit.

The ref should have checked with VAR before sending a player off.
