Vorm has done well for us in the past but he seems to get injured quite a lot and I don't think Tremmel is good enough to be a consistent premier league goalkeeper (plus he's too old). Personally I'd like us to try and get a first team goalkeeper in the summer, Kasper Schmeichel from Leicester is available on a free this summer but has been linked to massive clubs (Utd, Milan ) or Timo Horn seems like a prospect in Bundesliga 2 but they'll probably get promoted this season so it might be hard to get him. Gregor Zabret seems to get hyped up quite a bit, anyone think he could be an understudy to Vorm? |

Thread | Academy Players, is there another Ben Davies?

Looking at our academy players, is there anyone who is going to do what Ben did and hold down a first team position? I don't think that players like Jazz Richards and Kurtis March could become first team regulars, Zabret might be the only one that has a chance. I'd like us to get some good young welsh players next season, Jonny Williams has been impressive for Wales (reminds me a bit of Barkley) but never had a chance playing under Pulis so he got shipped out to Ipswich. Also I think a loan move for Emyr Huws from Man City next season would be really good for us, he's been doing well for Birmingham and could learn a lot from Leon |
