Comment | Saints Get Further Ticket Allocation From Inter Milan

I know everyone is pleased we have a further allocation, but I am fuming with the club for blatantly lying about the amount of tickets they could get from inter! Blaming both inter and or the Italian authorities for only getting 5,000 tickets initially allocated! I was told by the club as late as yesterday afternoon there was no chance of further tickets!! Low and behold we sell out and they magically have another 3,700!! I and my mates have already bought tickets from an agency, as a back up if we couldn't get them from saints. I am a season ticket holder with only one away game (even though I went too more than that) we all now have tickets from saints and have spares in the Home section £44 each! The agency we dealt with, initially refused us tickets and said they had spoken to inter and their Italian contacts and were told this came directly from Southampton fc!! He however relented after much persuasion and sold us 7 tickets. His company have been in business for twenty years and he said he has never encountered any problems procuring tickets for any inter games and was perplexed as to why saints were doing thIs!
On the plus side I can't wait to see saints in the San siro. |
