Cody Cropper is with the US squad at the CONCACAF U20 World Cup qualifying tournament in Guatemala and was on the bench for their 4-0 victory over Surinam on Wednesday. The young Americans face Panama in their second and final group game tomorrow. Irish first-year scholar Conor O’Donnell (pictured), Cropper’s usual deputy, has a shoulder injury and trialist Jack Boyd, who played in last week’s 3-3 draw at the MK Dons, may again be involved. Boyd previously had time on trial at Yeovil.
