Sneak preview of Brighton programme

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One game against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The programme has been increased to 76 pages this season, but with the same number of advert pages as last year, meaning there is even more to keep you entertained before, during and after the match.

We start with a front cover image of Dale manager Keith Hill, who will be taking charge of his 200th Football League match this weekend.

A special Anorak’s Corner looks back at those 200 games, while Hilly gives his thoughts on Tuesday’s game against Charlton and the achievements of his team this season.

As usual, there are the serious and not-so-serious articles, together with the usual high quality pictures from the Huddersfield and Exeter games by photographer Daniel Youngs.

A new style Dale Quiz has been compiled to test the grey matter and Scrutator is back with his views on the contrasting fortunes experienced by Saturday’s visitors Brighton and another south coast club, Plymouth

Traveller’s Tales reports on the trip to Plymouth, while there are in-depth previews of forthcoming home and away fixtures.

Of course, there are many new features, including The Day I Was Born, where we look back at which player was born just as Dale had lost their first overseas manager.

Visitors Brighton get nine pages of coverage, with My First Time reflecting on a rather strange choice of midweek game at the Goldstone Ground.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
