Our second look back at our visits down to South Wales to take on Swansea City, this time we look back at our more recent trips, but for the first of our visits it was a bit of a change we lost.

Shane Long scored for a second consecutive year down at the Liberty Stadium, but 2016/17 season would not be a 4th consecutive 1-0 win, this time a 2-1 defeat.

Now on to May 2018 and one of the tensest games i have ever attended, it was do or die for both sides and we did and nearly died after the game with angry Swansea fans abounding after Manolo Gabbiadini had given us our usual 1-0 win.

We had to wait nearly 4 years to go back to the Liberty Stadium and this time it was in the FA Cup in January 2022, no fans were allowed in to football stadium at the time in Wales, but look out for a couple of familiar faces in the Swansea camp. We won 3-2 with Nathan Redmond, Moi Elyounoussi & Shane Long doing the damage and Yan Valery being sent off on the half hour mark.
