Was it just me or was the first 80 mins of that game, tedium on stilts?

Low quality fare but a strangely entertaining match as a result. Even that gut wrenching feeling that Sheff Weds were going to snatch a draw before Kolli put the match to bed. Which should have happened a lot sooner against a very poor side. I thought Jimmy Dunne was excellent and is quietly catching up with Burrell and Madsen in the POY contest for me. He was probably my player of the game but MOM has to go to Kolli. Saito was better than he has been recently but Poku doesn’t look quite right to me and it wasn’t a great surprise when he didn’t come out for the second half. Dembele is playing as if he’s got his right arm and leg bound together, I’ve no idea what’s going on with him. All the rest were about par for the course 5 or 6/10.

Worst 75 minutes of football I have watched in a long time. Our pitch is a disgrace with the ball rolling and then popping up 1 foot. What's happened to it.
Saito and Dembele need to learn how to stand up with the ball. I've never seen two players on the same pitch spend so much time on the deck.
Sheffield Wednesday by far the worst side to visit Loftus Road in a long time but we didn't makenitbeasy..

V average game which we nearly conspired to lose. Much needed 3 points after dire festive period. Main takeaway is concern over the dreadful state of the Loftus Road pitch before we’ve hit deepest winters and possible link to injury pile up.

Kolli took his chances really well and eased the inevitable tensions of a one goal lead with fifteen minutes left. Not a great performance but three points is three points.
Dembele has talent but seems determined not to show it on a regular basis.
