I was disgusted by some of our fans last night. It made me truly embarrassed to be an 'Rs fan. How the hell does booing a lad before he has even touched the ball help him. We have had the likes of Bosingwa, Park and Cisse come through this club in recent years, and Karl Henry is the one getting the abuse. Yes fans have a right to say what they want, but i think we have a very spoiled fan base at this point. Please, lets try and turn this around and make Loftus Road somewhere where we actually want to be, because at the moment im starting to question why i go when there is such a negative atmosphere from so many people in the ground.
It's easy for some to boo Henry when Ramsey or Hasselbaink play him; indeed, it's actual evidence of their managerial incompetence. When Warnock does it?.....errr...well....um....
But when Olly, bringer of light from his fundamental orifice and fount of all good things QPR, not only picks him but also takes their subsequent disaffection to task...Man, that's gotta hurt!
I would think everybody knows that a negative atmosphere is counter productive but emotion is part and parcel of football. Rightly or wrongly, crowds are going to have their favourites and players they don't like.
I've only read it in print, not seen the video, so don't know how it was raised or Holloway's reaction, but really he should be experienced enough to side-step that without criticising the crowd. Frankly, the crap that has been served up over the last few years is enough to try the patience of a saint. He should be more concerned about the people that aren't turning up than those that do.
As for Robinson, he's supposed to be a professional. Concentrate on the job. He was badly at fault for the first goal and didn't exactly cover himself in glory for the second. If he can't handle the heat maybe he should be thinking about whether he's in the right profession. Biting and arguing with your own fans after a handful of appearances is really poor.

I would despute that. Everywhere I've sat in the ground the most vocal moaners and booers have been 35+

I have only booed two Fulham players - Darren Bent (fat waster) and John Harley (rubbish and Chelsea). I would never boo a trier, however sh it they were, and fu ck me we've had some sh it players over the years.
Tony Cascarino wrote about a one-on-one when he was at Gillingham, when rather than concentrating on scoring, all he was thinking about was how much stick he was going to get if he missed it. Totally counter productive. Everything now is 100 times worse because people now say, "Tough shi t, they're on £2k/20k/200k pw" and with players stopping at clubs for 40-50 games before moving on again, there's just not the same bond between players and fans. Actually, I just think people are a lot more angry in general these days - they see footballers wages and ticket prices as yet another injustice and example of inequality/pis s-taking, where the only way to voice your anger is to boo the fu ck out of everything.
So has Ollie got to time his subs so that they don't get so much abuse?
No, I just think Sandro doesn't have much left after half time, the game starts drifting away, we lose shape, especially with 10 men. Get him off, get the sub properly warmed up during the break and off we go.

Second is that he has stated that he will sub Sandro with "the most experienced player". What? Why? Surely, down one goal at the time you put on the player who would fit the plan to score. Henry may be the most experienced but he is a defensive player and we were down at the time.
I am not intending to have a go at Ollie, but clearly there is a sense of win with experience happening here. Ollie's motives per game need to be considered - experience over ideas??
Why were we having to make a like for like substitution after 60 minutes when so much other stuff needed altering? Because the people's champion Sandro couldn't do more than an hour for his £50,000 this week.
This. I was disappointed to see hime start because I thought there goes one of the subs. Then Perch does a crazy challenge on a yellow! That was a massive influence on how the game panned out imo.

I thought Ollie was sticking him in the shop window to oil January buy ins, but if he can't do more than an hour nobody is going to come in for him. I'd have him on the bench not the starting 11 on that basis.

It's not just the under 25s. I have an elderly Irish lady that has sat near us for the last two seasons who does nothing but scream negativity in a high pitched voice for 2/3rds of every match before leaving early. Screaming Mary as she's known to those around us.
The combination of her and poor quality football has really made me question what I'm doing at Loftus Road every other week.

It seemed the obvious change to me, I'm not sure Cousins would have done any better
We wouldn't have this thread if Olly had brought on Cousins not Henry which would have made more sense to me as we were trying to get back into the game.

Why haven't we seen it yet??? Are you saving it for the last day of the season? Is he a bit slow to catch on? Is it so secret he can't show it in public?
The man is marked as the worst player out there and the booers will boo. I can't believe we're the only club in the land that boos it's own players, it's part and parcel of the game, like it or not.
I imagine no one would complain about the boos if we signed John Terry, they'd be too busy booing.

Disagree with literally every bit of this. He was shagged. But that's football, game of opinions.
QPR fans who hang their hat on Sandro get the club they deserve. He's the last vestige of a disgusting period in our history.
