Roberts doesn't have the experience and quite honestly the same ability as Naughton at this moment in time. He needs to get that experience though.
IF we survive, I'd loan him out next season to a good Championship side and get a good experienced replacement / competition for Naughton. If we don't, I'd see him playing week in week out for us. | |

I was worried about numbers in midfield following the Fer and Sanches injuries but the cover is more than adequate.
Back to the OP - I agree with all of that. Naughton attracts some criticism but he didn’t put a foot wrong today. | |

Jon, he's been one of our best players this season. no question about it. From the first kick til the last. Yeah i get it he's got weaknesses and they come right out to the front at times but as I've said all along he's the least of our worries.
He's now playing a bit further forward and without the pressures put on him by that kunt Clement and we're all seeing the results.
I'm chuffed for the boy. He always makes a point of clapping the Jacks, win or lose. | |
