I agree.
These guys have worked hard over an extended period of time and while they have no doubt drawn a tidy salary, player sales have more than recouped that outlay. They deserve an opportunity to work at a higher level and have a “crack at the big time” - especially if their jobs are on the line come the end of the season.
We are often told there is no loyalty in football, that may be the case but these guys have shown a fair bit of commitment to the cause, a lot more than some. |  | | |
