There's been quite a few departures over the last 6 months across all the age groups.
We were overstaffed for Cat 1 standards, mind. As most clubs are in the expensive arms race of academy football. Not sure how it works if the club finds itself unable to fulfil minimum coaching hours and coaches per player (less players about these days) during a season.

What needs to be remembered, for whatever reason, the academy was completely overstaffed in the number of coaches it had on its books. An example of this was Alan Tate's role with an U17 team that played friendly games on a Sunday just to give gametime for those kids that weren't getting matches in the 16's, 18's or 23's. Depending on how important his first team role is at the moment, quite possible he can slot in alongside Waggy with the 23's.

Suspect like the players who have contracts expiring in June we are cutting our cloth based on future income streams, so not surprised - if you are on a contract expiring in June 2020 & you have an offer from elsewhere you’ve got to look after yourself like the rest of the world.
Without a sale it will continue to get worse, in financial terms at least, before it can get better - we have not hit the bottom yet.

We move to Cat3. An option explained by Brich back in April.

But how does that work mid-season, is my question. Do they kick us out of PL2, or do things carry to the next assessment period? Are we obliged to meet criteria up to specific dates by being a part of the EPPP scheme?

The u23s are playing today so it would be interesting to see who is on the touchline coaching them. At least it would be if the club hadn't also cut back on the live streaming of many games, including this one.

Ahem, on that last point are you sure he doesn't exist? A couple of strong contenders I reckon

We’re going to be a carcass of a club by the time they leave.
Quite probably. I cling to the hope that Birch has a football brain on him and won’t just sell the family silver to make the balance sheet attractive to a potential buyer. The way his Yank taskmasters tick though, I won’t be holding my breath.
It's getting bloody ridiculous now. If a Championship club can't afford a couple of million to bring players through the system, it means there will be no signings for fees for a long time. If those Yanks ever get to Swansea again they are likely to be run out of town. Tar and feather them too. Tw@ts.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Run out of town ??
You really think so? By who?
There’s no one channelling anything any more. Not even a progress update from the Trust. 18 months since relegation now ....
Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day
