Steve Davis was a great signing for what we paid for him too. He was a very good player massively underrated

Agree on Steve Davis. Quiet jewel in the crown who just got on with the job. There was one season I voted him as player of the year, but he missed out on someone else narrowly (can't recall who it was).

Forgot about Maik Taylor....there's another that you could put in this list of players.

Royally screwed over by Dave Jones to shoehorn his old pal Jonah in goal. Whilst a great shot stopper he was fcuking useless at commanding his box and claiming anything aerial.

Mind you he could continuously kick a ball into the East or West stand.

	Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......

Yes, true Taylor was a good GK and remember many calling for him to play. Oakley was also a good player for us.
