Until the end of June... that's confirmation ( as if we needed it ) that you won't be having a pint in a pub until September/October at the earliest.

No way would they open up pubs in the peak of summer, nor would they extend the furlough scheme unless they expected the events, hotel and hospitality industries to be unable to trade in June.

Poll: Claude Puel

Morale gets lowered when the truth is covered up. When people having been told we are all in this together are left to fend for themselves, when people go into care homes to be cared for, not to die of something they should be exposed to in care, when people are told one thing and another happens. Reporters seem to be doing the job for some cabinet ministers. How does that raise morale? How does anything said by that clueless idiot Donal Trump raise morale? He is the most powerful man in the western day and every day he says something that destroys any hope that you have for our future with his inane and ill informed uttering. I would put Hancock in his league, but he is another one who does not inspire one iota of confidence. Unless of course you like to be spoon fed bollocks.

We would have seen it all handled perfectly with Hilary Clinton and Jezza in power, that's for sure.

The only bad air around here is you guys farting around.

66% of the public have confidence in how the government are handling this.

Meaningless, as the 34% not happy with how it is being handled are doubtless the superior third of the nation.

Does that include those in the mortuary?

I guess if you take a poll of Sun, Mail and Express readers this is exactly what you expect to find.

That’s not how polls are done. Are you really that stupid?

Do you really think polling companies just ask the demographic you mention? Are you that stupid?

66% of the public think the government are doing ok. That’s the fact of the matter.

I was quite detailed in information when I gave you a severe laruping on the Trump WHO thread. I would say i addressed that very well, wouldn't you?

But hey, why should I not call you out for your clear hypocrisy? You would and indeed do, do the same.

What you tried to do on the Trump thread was draw me into an argument about the WHO when my point, which I articulated several times for you, was whatever criticisms might be levelled against the WHO, those criticisms could never be sufficient to block funding at this critical time. And that very clearly Trump has another agenda. As it happens, I did respond in more detail to the charges against the WHO in an exchange on another thread. The idea that the WHO‘s failings are a reason to cut its funding is to me (and i think to most sensible people) ridiculous and appalling.

Certainly, you should call me out for hypocrisy, but here’s the thing...

I believe everyone should be uniting to fight this virus and not playing politics around it.

I believe that Trump is/was playing politics with the WHO so I called him on it.

I believe that Ignatius is playing politics by referring to ‘the backward Chinese‘ so I called him on it.

I believe that Ignatius is playing politics by referring to EVERY critic of this govt as an ‚extreme leftist‘, so I called him on it.

If you think I am therefore also playing politics by calling out these things, so be it. I’m not, and you can see from my other posts that I do not have an agenda I am trying to push on this and am very happy to give credit where credit is due.
